Therapy in Russian or English, with an understanding of where you come from
Sometimes the most important feelings are easiest to express in your first language. I offer therapy in Russian and English for children, teens, adults, couples and families, in person in Brooklyn and online across New York.
Why language and culture matter
As a Russian-speaking Jewish therapist, I understand the importance of culture, family dynamics and identity in the healing process. Many clients find it easier to open up when they don't have to translate their experiences, or explain the cultural context behind them.
Who I work with
- Children and teens, including play and sand tray therapy
- Adults dealing with anxiety, depression, stress or life transitions
- Couples and families, including across generations
- Clients navigating identity, immigration or bicultural family life
Insurance and getting started
I'm in-network with Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carelon Behavioral Health and Cigna, and offer self-pay with a sliding scale. Getting started begins with a free 15-minute phone consultation, in whichever language you prefer.
