Anxiety therapy

When your mind won't slow down, you don't have to manage it alone

Anxiety can show up as constant worry, racing thoughts, trouble sleeping, irritability or feeling on edge. Together we'll understand what's driving it and build practical tools to help you feel calmer and more in control.

What anxiety can look like

  • Worrying about things you know are unlikely, but can't stop thinking about
  • Physical symptoms such as a racing heart, tension or stomach issues
  • Avoiding situations, people or tasks because they feel overwhelming
  • Trouble sleeping or switching off at the end of the day
  • Perfectionism, overthinking or second-guessing yourself

How we'll work together

My approach is warm and collaborative, and tailored to you. I draw on evidence-based approaches such as Psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness, so you leave sessions with practical skills, along with space to understand where the anxiety comes from.

Support for stress and life transitions

Anxiety often rises during big changes: a new job, a move, becoming a parent, a relationship ending, or caring for family. Therapy can help you navigate these transitions with more steadiness and self-compassion.
